Older Persons Mental Health Service

Mr MARSHALL (Dunstan—Leader of the Opposition) (14:35): Supplementary: is the minister indicating to this house that she does not accept the Chief Psychiatrist's recommendations regarding the number of tier 7 patients that are contained in the Oakden review?

The Hon. L.A. VLAHOS (Taylor—Minister for Disabilities, Minister for Mental Health and Substance Abuse) (14:36): What I have said is that the model of care and the appropriate site development will be considered by a transition team. I have said that a number of times today. They will make the appropriate recommendation, and I'm sure the Chief Psychiatrist will be speaking to that group as they develop this transition piece.
